Grip-to-Grip Formation: We ride in a grip-to-grip formation, meaning riders pair up side-by-side in tight alignment to promote unity and maintain a steady rhythm. This formation is particularly useful on straight stretches of road, where visibility is clear and maintaining group cohesion is key. On curvier roads or tighter spaces, we shift to single-file riding for maximum safety.
Defined Roles: Group rides are more effective when roles are clear. There’s always a lead rider setting the pace, a sweep (or tail) rider ensuring no one gets left behind, and sometimes road captains for larger groups to help manage the pack.
